Since its founding by Maurice E. Entliss in 1922, City Sign Service, Inc. has been providing signage and lighting solutions for the Delaware Valley and beyond. Originally located in a three story brick building at 1306 Callowhill Street in Philadelphia, Entliss grew the company behind his skills as a designer, draftsman and artist. In 1989 Entliss decided to retire from the signage business and he sold City Sign to its current ownership, the Carson family.
The Carsons moved the company to Ambler, and then eventually to its current location in Horsham, Montgomery County, in 1994.
